Denver Zoo!

OK... I thought the Salt Lake City Zoo was a great zoo and big, but it is NOTHING compared to the Denver Zoo!!! The last time I was at the Denver Zoo was my Senior ditch day and they were doing all types of construction and I remembered it being quite lame. Not anymore!!!

My mom, sister and I decided to take Brooke to the zoo while the boys went camping. It was quite warm that day, so we ended up with rosy cheeks.

Trying to find the seals...

During the seal show... she got on my shoulders to see over the crowd.

Good ol' hippos...

riding the zebra... probably her favorite part of the whole trip. She keeps asking to go ride the zebras...

She gets to ride free, so we all just took turns with her so she could go multiple times.

Then of course we rode the train. We were the only ones on the train when we went... it was quite fun. I don't know why they don't have that go through the whole zoo.. it would be a LOT easier to see all the animals!

So when I was a little younger than Brooke, my mom has a picture of my Dad doing the same thing with me... yes we are kicking the ox...

Sharing some soft serve to try to cool down! It was soo good!
