He gets cuter everyday and melts me all the time!
Some things about him right now:
-24.8 lbs (45%ile) YEAH!
-??? inches (40%ile) yeah!
-??? head circumference (50%ile) YEAH!
(He use to be in the 20th %ile and so we're excited he's slowly climbing the charts!)
-He loves ALL balls, blocks and large legos
-He is happy all the time, just don't ignore him... ;)
-He will scream higher and louder than you could imagine... worse than Brookie. There is no warning when it comes either. It's just there.
-Funny story: This story is one of the main reasons I'm ready to go inactive at church until he reaches nursery age. I was in Relief Society (all womens class at church). Tanner was in my lap playing with a board book. He was being fairly good considering it was approaching 3 hours of being constrained and having to be quiet... When OUT OF THE BLUE, he CHUCKED the book behind me (over my shoulder) and screamed one of his high pitch, ear drum shattering screams, all at the same time. Not only did it startle me, but the book hit an old woman behind us and between the book hitting her and his scream, it also startled her too... To the point to where SHE SCREAMED TOO! *SIGH* I will go into hiding shortly!
-He is ahead in his language development! YEAH! He will mimic just about ANYTHING you say, and most of the time he's pretty close to saying it! It's made me start watching what I have to say around him... such as "oh crap!".... He says "ooo-cra" Lovely right?
-His most frequent words are Mommy, Mama, Daddy, No, Bu-tie (Brookie) Bu-bye, ball, chee (cheese) and plee (please), steety (stinky), plus MANY MORE!
-He HAS to be ON your lap when we're at the computer... He doesn't want to hit the keys or anything, he just wants to watch
-He has NO DESIRE in any TV shows or movies.
-He eats his body weight in food at every meal. He eats more than Brookie. However, I just don't know where he puts it all!
-He HATES any berries except for blueberries
-He loves his carbs.
-He LOVES edamames
-He drinks 4-5 sippy's of water everyday...
-He will play in his crib in the morning for up to 2 hours if Brookie (not Mommy) goes and puts toys in his bed.
-He started taking a couple steps at 15 months... (currently we're up to 10 at 16 months)
-Crawling is still the fastest mode of transportation
-He can go up the stairs (currently he can go down all by himself with no help at 16 months)
-Church for Tanner is a wrestling match that begins and ends with prayer.
-This is Tanner "winking" at you... or also his cheesy grin
-We tried our first dum dum at the bank... he LOVED it
-At Goodwill... he fell asleep on the way over (the whole 5 min it takes us to get there) and then wouldn't wake up, so he slept in the cart... for 30 min!
-All bundled up with his favorite after-breakfast snack
-This is Tanner's "nervous" twitch. He picks his lip. We were in line to go see Santa.
Anyone recognize what horror character he looks like?

This was the 2nd Santa we saw at our Christmas party. He didn't mind so much!
