November 2012

Popcorn Picnic on the kitchen floor

At the Romney/Ryan Rally at Red Rocks... This was on his website and I'm in it! HAHA! Can you see me?  I'm in the red shirt... like everyone else! ;)
We had the opportunity to drive to UT in November for our niece, Ava's baptism. I drove the kids to Grand Junction and we picked up Daddy and then drove the rest of the way in.  It was such a fun weekend trip.
While in UT, we drove by the OfficeMax where Dan and I first met, so sad to see it went out of business! :( I had great thoughts of one day going there for an anniversary to isle 6 with a cute little picnic dinner... oh well!

The kids first In N Out in Utah!

Dan and I dream of having a backyard like his parents one day!  It's beautiful!

Watching football with Grandpa Sugar!

Reading stories with cousin Audrey!

Tanner "flirting" with cousin Maya... The ONLY cousin he will even attempt to play with.

More stories... but with Grandma Sugar this time!
On Sunday night we drove back to Grand, and then stayed the night with Dan in his 10x12 room for the night... THAT was interesting! :) Then I drove back with the kids on Monday morning.  Well I also had an ultrasound around 12, and I was LITERALLY racing the clock to get back in time.  Well, lets just say I made the appointment in time... It only took me 3 hrs 15 min to get back... :/ SHHH....

This was my first 3D ultrasound too... They wanted to check on baby since it was measuring a little big!  Everything checked out well! :)

So amazing!

I was suppose to work the polling station on Election Day, but ended up not going.  So, instead I got a pedicure since I couldn't reach my toes anymore!

Brooke asked to cuddle with my Mom one night at dinner, and quickly fell asleep.  Too cute!

To which, after we put her to sleep on my Grandma's bed! :)

One of Brooke's favorite hair style, the heart!
Well, now that I'm writing this almost 14 months later... Everyone knows that our baby Wendy is a girl!  Well, when I was prego with her, we told everyone that we didn't know the sex.  (Except my parents...) So when I went shopping or planning for her stuff, I couldn't share it with anyone but my parents and Dan.  It was quite a challenge at times too!
Just some fun new girl clothes!

Christmas Jammies! So weird to see THREE outfits!

Daddy taught this kids how to "plank".

I was coming up the stairs to find Dan planking one day...

He is such a good hubby! It was so cold that night... He really does do anything he can to serve us.

We attempted to try and potty train Tanner... ya, 14 months later, he is STILL in diapers.  But BOY DOES HE LOOK CUTE IN SKIVVIES!

Cuddling up to each other watching The Polar Express

My favorite sweater that I was eying for a while at Gap. Dan surprised me and got it for me!

Brooke thought it was so funny when Sophie would lick her feet.

The 2nd generation on the Barbie Jeep!

Haley needs a refresher course on how to drive it!

We put up our tree before Thanksgiving!  We had limited amounts of time together to do it, so we did it early!

So, my Dad wanted nut cups for Thanksgiving and came down and was crafting with my Mom and I.  So I told Dan what my Dad was doing, and he sent me a pic of him crocheting in Junction! "Where are all the men?!"

Happy Thanksgiving at Maggiano's! YUMMY! Plus, no cooking and NO DISHES!

The baby quilt I made for little!

Our Christmas lights on our house... We didn't do much since I was 36 weeks prego and Dan was gone so much! :)  It still made me happy though.

So, when I found out we were moving, I was SOO sad the girls wouldn't have a chance to have a room together.  So Dan let me set everything up early.  It was so cute with all the paint and such... Little did I know they would get an even BIGGER room in the new house to share!  Now to paint that one!

36 weeks! Getting excited!

I took the kids by the temple one night on a whim.  I let them get out and walk up to see the fountain.  They LOVED it! (14 months later side note: I miss having a temple so close.)

Tanner fell one day and his head was going for a corner of a counter, so I reached out and grabbed him to save him from hitting it. Turns out I did more damage than if he had hit the corner. He pulled a muscle in his neck and laid like the for a day or two.  Poor {cute} kid!

My best friend Heather, was 2 weeks ahead of me with her 3rd as well.  She came over for a last GNO before we had the babies... We decided to get some pix of us prego together.  It was a good thing we did bc she had little Will just a week later!

If you know our family at all, you know we LOVE the movie "Elf".  So of course, when I found these shirts I had to get us all one!

Wrestling with Grandpa!

A new game they came up with... Pillow River Jump! So silly.  I wish they would play more together! ;)

My side of the family on Thanksgiving!

Looking at these pictures of our family before Wendy, makes our family seem so little!

Fun with the nut cup hats Grandpa made!

Of course baby had to get in on the fun!

Haley LOVES Tanner, but she gags SUPER easy... and thus has semi scared Tanner from her... Needless to say she doesn't change Tanners diapers anymore! ;)

But boy, aren't the uncles a big hit with Tanner! :)

We had a fun outing one night downtown.  We went to the parade of lights!

Tanner however, was TERRIFIED of the Tiger float... Would NOT even look at the rest of the parade once that came by!

Before the Tiger float....

Everyone is trying to mimic my pregnant waddle... haha... they're SOOO funny! NOT!

Mom and Dad had a room at the Hyatt downtown, and luckily had a great view of the parade route.  So once we were all too cold to watch it outside anymore, we went up to their room.
That pretty much sums up our November 2012!
