So, I have been DYING to take Brooke to the Zoo and I found out that my sister-in-law Wendy was going to go with her cousin. So I asked if we could tag along! Well, long story short, we finally got a Thursday where Danny could come with us! We ended up only going with Wendy and her kids Dalin and Kenna and Wendy's brother and sister-in-laws Rob and Jenny and their little girl Elle! It was so much fun! It was BEAUTIFUL day and we just loved it!
However, do NOT EVER get directions from TELL ME! (Its a free information number 800-555-8355) It wasn't very clear on directions and had us winding through a neighborhood and we came up on the back end of it!
Brooke LOVES being outside as it is, so being outside all day with so much to look at (and her stroller to suck on), she was in HEAVEN! We plan to take her again to the Zoo lights this Winter! We're thinking of getting a year long pass because its only $65 for the entire year (not just a calendar year) and its $8/adult to get in! Anyways... Brooke really took to the White Alligator and monkies, she wouldn't stop staring at them! We tried to show her the other animals, but she would get distracted by the plants...

Danny and Rob were making fun that it was chewing its cud (which we watched travel up and down its throat!) and Danny did something and then it wouldn't quite starring him down...we had to move on after that.

Dallin:"MOM! I see the tiger, it's right there!" Points to something in the water.
Wendy: "No Dallin, thats just a speck in the water."

Danny apparently likes to offend the animals, because he made a face at this monkey and it turned around and lifted his tail and show off his bum.
We waited for the snake to eat the bunny, but it didn't. This was pretty cool though.
