April 2011 Highlights

April FLEW by for us... it was mostly spent doing renovations on our HOUSE! However, in between pulling out tile, pergo, more tile AND linoleum that was UNDER the tile, painting and moving, we were able to get to do some fun things too...

Here are some highlights...

We (mostly I) decided to be brave enough to venture into the McDonald's playplace after the winter/flu/germ season. (We were so lucky that the only sickness we had to cope with was Tanner's mild ear infection! YEAH!)
Brooke LOVED the playplace...

Tanner LOVED his first french fry! He's hooked so much now that whenever he sees them, he screams at you until you give him one too...

Dan's cousin Mandy, went through the temple and we were privileged enough to be there with her. It was a wonderful day.

I have recently started using the flat iron on Brooke's hair, so equally she started using it on her dolls!

Tanner HATES being on his tummy, but when his sister plays with him, it's more bearable.

We had a couple dance parties with "my two kiddies"!

We went to our first Rockies game, they were GREAT seats, box seats.. and they were FREE!! YAH! However, they lost and it was FREEZING! But we got to have Monster Nachos!! YUM!

hehe... we got to go in the club level!

Tanner sported the 1 tooth for a LONG time... but alas this past week, he finally broke the 2nd one through! His hair is also getting longer and it's starting to go curly behind his ears, just like his Daddy! YAH!

Mama Deara came to visit for Easter. Brooke LOVED having her around and soaked up every minute she could get from her.

Equally, she LOVED having Papa Lew come to her new house. She would just eat up any attention he gave her.

She loved showing him how she could do all the games on Grandma's iPhone and Mommy's iPod. Needless to say, he was quite impressed.

Don't worry... April was filled with LOTS of pictures of the house, but that will be a completely separate post... SO MUCH TO SHOW! ;)
