Brooke has discovered Cinderella and The Little Mermaid (aka Ariel). She absolutely LOVES them!
2 of my favorite things she does while watching them...
1- When she watches Cinderella and it is at the part where she runs into the garden crying... Brooke will go "Cinderella SAD!" Then she will proceed to give Cinderella (really just the TV) a hug and will kiss the screen, all while saying "I sorry. All better! I love you!" It is the cutest thing. She will also wave and say goodbye to the TV at the end of the movie when Cinderella and the Prince ride off together.
2-During Ariel, when the shark is chasing them in the beginning she will run over to either Danny or I and say "CARY! CARY!" (Scary). It's so funny. Also, when Ursala is taking Ariel's voice and she is singing.... Brooke will LITERALLY sing along with her. She really isn't all too bad either. As my grandpa puts it "she comes in on pitch!". We think we have a singer on our hands...
Brooke generally stands here watching a movie, or will sit on the couch. There is no middle ground or alternative...

This video is quite fuzzy because it was taken on my phone. Today we were at the mall and decided to go into the Disney store. OH MY GOODNESS! She was in HEAVEN! (Side note: if anyone needs Birthday present ideas...that is the place to go!) She went from thing, to thing, to thing... just bouncing around on sensory overload! It was the cutest thing EVER! As she went she would name all the princesses too (intertwined with some Clubhouse characters)...
-Belle
-Rora (Aurora)
-Cinderella (yes... she says ALL 4 syllables of it and says it correctly!)
-Ayiel (Ariel)
-No White (Snow White)
-Goofy
-Mickey
-Minnie
-Donald
-Daisy
-Tuto (Pluto)
Even the store clerk said "Wow! She's too little to be talking that well! She really knows her characters too! Well done! How old is she?" "She'll be 2 in March" "Really!? Only 2?! She really is doing well!" It was quite funny... she entertained just about everyone there. (Especially when she let out a verse of Ariel!)
When we left the store she threw one of the biggest fits (mind you it was past her nap time too). It took some bargaining of candy to get her to calm down.

Good Luck. I had a princess fanatic sprout very early, and she only gets more and more obsessed. She knows ALL of the princesses their color of dress, their theme song, and who their true love is. She already thinks she knows everything about the Princess and the Frog, and we haven't even seen that one. Silly girls.
I love the princess phase. I hope we never leave it! Sadie's thing lately is taking care of babies. She changed the bunny's diaper (put one of her on it) wiped it's nose, cleaned it's face, put lotion on it's hands and powder on its bumm. It was too cute. Our girls are totally growing up!
