What a little lady my Brookie has turned into. I can't believe it's happened right before my eyes!
Couple little things about Brooke right now I want to remember:
- She LOVES her brother. Holding his hand, talking, playing legos with him... everything
- She is a great little helper! Always wanting to help me carry in bags or help me make dinner
- She LOVES to color. Chalk, pencils, pens, crayons, you name it, she'll color with it!
- She loves to sing and dance. Her shaking her little hips always makes me giggle and grin.
- She is so caring and observant. She'll be the first one to the scene if someone is sad to make sure they're ok. She generally wont leave you alone until you say you are.
- She can sing her ABC's all the way through
- She loves to read in The Book of Mormon. Her favorite is Nephi.
- She loves picking out Christ in a picture.
- She loves her two best friends, Colton and Lucy. However, she makes friends wherever we go... especially at the store. She'll say hi to everyone and then tell me "I said HI to my friend Mommy!" It makes the stranger smile when they hear she called them her friend. Plus, she won't stop saying HI until you say HI back.
- She loves babysitters! Especially Alex, Jessica and Sarah!
- She gets SO excited whenever Daddy comes home at night.
- She is VERY excited to start pre-school this fall.
- She LOVES to read.
- She will say prayers all by herself. She says them with meaning too, not just a repeat of the same things. I love it when she prays for patience for Mommy! ;)
- She will send anyone to time-out if they said ANY bad words (stupid, idiot, etc...)
- Her favorite movies right now are {any} Toy Story, Megamind and Tangled.
- She loves going on dates with Daddy to the "cool" {pool}
- She would rather have edamame's than french fries.
- She knows exactly where I need to go to get said edamame's {Pei Wei} and gets a free cookie from Bill, every time we go
- She is SO good at using her manners and nice words. She is quite the little lady.
- She would rather wear a dress than pants any day
- She loves everyone she comes in contact with, with ALL her heart
- She is my example of perfect love (besides our Heavenly Father and Christ)
- I LOVE HER!

I love you Brooke! I am so blessed to be your mother. You set a great example not only for your brother, but for your parents as well. I love listening to you pray and talk with you Heavenly Father! Thank you for coming to our family! You have blessed us all! Happy 3rd Birthday Sweetheart!
