August 2011

August was a fun and busy month for us. We had Tanner's first birthday (in another post) and I took a girls trip to Portland to see my Aunt (also another post).

{We walked in to check on Brooke one night and she had fallen asleep completely covered by her sheet}

{Something strange (at least for where we live) happened at my parents house. They had a __ point buck deer in their backyard, it was HUGE and came and laid down in the shade of their backyard tree. It had all sorts of twine and rope stuck in its antlers... so sad, but SOO cool to see one like this!}

{I hosted a "Friends" girls night with some fun ladies in our ward! Have I said how much I LOVE our new ward!!!}

{My Mom's birthday was in August and my Dad surprise her (with my help!) of a 3 week backpacking trip to Paris, London and Italy next April!!! She was SHOCKED to say the least!}

{My Dad even made 2 fresh pies for her birthday dinner too! He did it all by himself!!! Go Dad!}
