In many attempts to become independent... Brookie has ventured into the world of learning how to stand on her own. She was pretty unsteady last week, but starting today, she's getting kinda good! She just started doing it after pulling herself upto the couch, while I was watching a show. She is so funny!
In other recent events, we put Brookie's crib on the lowest level last night. On Saturday after coming home from a friends house for dinner, she fell asleep in the car. However, when we brought her inside, she was wide awake. So we swaddled her and laid her down. Then about ten minutes later, we heard her mobile go off. (It only goes off when you touch it). We both looked at each other and said "She's standing up!". Low and behold, we went in to her room and she had unswaddled herself and was standing in her bed, JUMPING! Hence, the lowering of her crib. Danny and I both had to keep from laughing our heads off. She is just moving too fast for me these days...

Wow! That's impressive Brookie. We tried to get Sadie ti stand next to a little couch for pictures and we got it long enough to snap one pic and that was it. She's so not into it!
How cute is she?! I love that cute face...sounds like you're having a blast being a mom. She's also at that fun age, walking is just around the corner!
