Festival of Colors 2010

Last year Danny and I went to the Festival of Colors and it was SOO much fun. This year, my family was still in town from Brooke's birthday so we brought them along! For those who don't know what the Festival of Colors is, it's a celebration to welcome Spring and to celebrate each others diversity and to spread peace and love. It's at the Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork. It's the largest Festival in the nation. (They also call it "BYU's unofficial Spring Break). Last year, we got there late and they had sold out of colors, so we just made our way to the middle and did it. This year each of us got 6 bags each (6 people x 6 bags of colors = 36 bags of fun!) When the countdown goes off, the sun LITERALLY gets blocked out and you can BARELY see the person next to you... it's so fun. People are so nice too...

After we went to lunch at IN-N-OUT. We had fellow festival mates there, and we also got a lot of weird looks...

We then went home to stagger showers and ended up in the front yard playing our new game of Trac-Ball. It's so fun.

Next year we hope (if we're still in-state) to get a bunch of family and friends to go down. On Facebook, there were over 10,000 confirmed attendees for the 2 different times they did it. COME WITH US! IT'S A BLAST!
