Our December was full of fun and craziness as most others! Here are a couple (actually several) pictures and notes of our fun life right now...
{Brookie and Tanner playing and cuddling... so cute! *note: notice Brooke's shoes... one boot and one sandal... my little "Turk"*}
{Brookie stopping everything and dropping for a little "rest" on the kitchen floor}
{Grandma GG reading Christmas stories to Brookie}
{Long story, short... I blew our tree up with the vacuum, (don't ask how) and it took us 2 weeks to finally get to a decision that eventually lead us to putting up a real one we bought at Costco. In the mean time, my Dad and I found this little one and put lights and fabric on it and tried to convince Mom to leave it up. It didn't happen, but Tanner sure loved it. He would just lay there and suck his thumb (or just gnaw on it) and watch the flashing colored lights}
{Dan's cousin lives in Greeley and we are GREAT friends with them. So one weekend we drove up and spent a Saturday with them. We went to a small town nearby for a light parade. I stayed in the car with Tan because of the cold and he was getting sick (side note: I ended up really sick the next several days). It ended up being a lot of fun (the parade, not the sick part).}
{This was Brooke's first up close exposure to Santa this year... she did pretty well mind you!}
{Both Rodney and Brookie love to take baths, especially together...}
{While we bathed the kiddos and talked, the boys played Halo... it was Dan's first time. Can you tell they're related? Actually they were both born on the exact day, same year...}
{Brookie helping make Christmas cut-out cookies for Elder Willardsen in CA}
{I love this picture of her... she's looking so old!}
{Tan and I mostly snuggled and watched. I love him sucking his thumb, it's so cute!}
{Packaging up the cookies to send to Uncle Aaron. Yes, that is bubble wrap AND they made it there in one piece... my mom's awesome like that.}
{One morning, Haley had some friends over for a "Christmas Brunch" and I decided to join the fun. The boys are (obviously) twins. They look like they belong on the Disney channel. It's pretty fun living at home for moments like these where you can totally act like a dork to embarrass your sister in front of her "crush". hehe...}
{My cute boy, supported up watching Mickey Mouse so we could attempt to get ready for church...}
{"Mom & Dad's Best Christmas Present" FOR SURE! This is what we call "Santa Baby"!}
{Our official trip to the mall to see Santa... Brooke was real shy at first and quite nervous. "If I can't see you, you cant see me!"}
{But she finally warmed up and sat on his lap. She asked him for "Princess Garbies" and candy necklaces.}
{I SAW MOMMY KISSING SANTA CLAUS!}
{Imitating our favorite Christmas movie... "ELF"}
{Brookie also imitating Will Ferrel's famous move...}
{Hanging with the Cattich's making our annual Graham Cracker Ginger Bread houses}
{Dan took his very seriously...}
{Finally... Brookie yet again getting even MORE lips on... I love this little cute girl!}
Hope your December was filled with fun memories!
