Thanksgiving 2010

We spent Thanksgiving at my grandparents house this year. It was very nice and low key. We spent the morning reading and POURING over the black Friday ads and watching the parade. Then the afternoon just cooking a couple side dishes. It was very laid back and so nice.

{Brooke got to take a bath in Grandma GG's big bath tub and after got in a comfy shirt of her's and decided the outfit wouldn't be complete without her glasses... SO CUTE!}

After we left my Grandparents house, we almost immediately started our Black Friday shopping. Our first stop was Michaels... just a couple little craft storage things was all I got there... Next stop... Walmart at midnight for some cheap DVD's and my Christmas present a Cricut Expression and a couple other things. Then while my mom was checking out at Walmart, my sister and I went over to Old Navy and BOY! were they crowded. The check out line went ALL the way around the store... So I was awesome and put my stuff on hold and then left! hehe... I then went and picked up Mom and we went home... BUT WAIT! I then woke up Dan and we headed BACK OUT and went to get in line at Ultimate Electronics. We were there at 2:30am. Dan was a doll and let me sleep in the car. So at 4:00 (when they opened) he called me and we went in and scored our big ticket item... A 50" plasma TV!!! It was a steal deal and we were so excited. We loaded up and THEN headed over to Lowe's. Dan got his Christmas present, a 10" miter saw. I then headed BACK to Old Navy got my stuff on hold and checked out within 5 minutes! (i'm so sneaky!) We then met up with my Dad and sister and went to OfficeMax where Dad scored a free camera! After which we went and got breakfast at McDonalds with some money Dad got from selling a laptop voucher to a lady in the Staples line... it was sweet. Finally at 9:00am I got home and went to bed. Between my Mom and Dan helping with the kids I got to sleep until 2:00pm. *SIGH* It was an awesome day of shopping and we scored some AWESOME deals! Between Dan's new job and the insurance money we got from Tanner's birth, we were able to pay cash for everything which made it all the better!)

{Here's our TV! We got it out to test it and make sure it was working! It is now in my Grandma's closet until we move into our own place.)
