Our new Denver Friends!

Just a couple weeks after moving to Denver, we were invited over to the Strouds house for dinner. They quickly became our GREAT friends that we have SOOO much in common with!

Lucy is their little girl and is only 5 months older than Brooke. They will be the same year in school, but unfortunately while Lucy gets to go to Sunbeams now, Brooke still have another year of nursery. :(

The first time we got together, they became instant Princess/Dress-up buddies! They encourage each other in all sorts of things. Something Lucy starts doing, Brooke will now do and shortly after Lucy saw Brooke using the "big-girl potty", she started doing it too! They are so cute.

This past summer, we had a park play date every Thurs morning. We went almost every week and these two were glued at the hip and take on the rest of the boys! It was so cute.

When we moved here, Leslie and I were both pregnant with #2. I was (obviously) due in August and she was due in November. The week I went to the hospital and found out we were actually having a boy, THEY had their ultrasound and TA-DA! they were having a boy too! I of course needed to throw her a shower...

{Its so fun getting to know them. Whenever we get together we are amazed about how much we have in common! We even have the EXACT carseat! ;) We love spending time with them and loving the fact we have another couple that LOVES to play games with us! ;) }

We love our new friends and look forward to hopefully having more kids the same age in the future! (Even if our kids won't be friends, we certainly will be! ;)
